In short:
Former Brisbane doctor Stellios Theodoros, who has been charged with 148 counts of rape and sexual assault, has had his case mentioned in the Brisbane Magistrates Court.
Police say they have received multiple calls with "new information" since Mr Theodoros's alleged offending was revealed.
What's next?
Mr Theodoros's case has been adjourned until July 17.
Police have received multiple calls with "new information" about a former Brisbane doctor charged with almost a hundred counts of rape.
Stellios Theo Theodoros, known by his former patients as Doctor Stan, was charged with 148 counts of rape and sexual assault last month after 15 patients came forward to police.
Mr Theodoros did not appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court for his first mention on Tuesday.
He was represented by Dan Rogers, one of Queensland's leading criminal defence lawyers and the legal director at Robertson O'Gorman Solicitors.
Mr Rogers said Mr Theodoros was on bail and asked for the matter to be adjourned.
Police have charged Mr Theodoros with 94 counts of rape and 54 counts of sexual assault, following the launch of Operation Xray Cariyna in August last year.
Police allege that from the early 2000s to 2015, the 74-year-old Highgate Hill man sexually assaulted 15 women in their late teens to 40s in his role as a doctor at a health centre in Tarragindi.
Police will allege that the conduct involved an excessive number of pelvic examinations, pap smears and breast checks.
Mr Theodoros has not yet entered a plea, and the matter has been adjourned until July 17.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson told the ABC last month that after publishing information about the alleged offences, investigators had received multiple calls about Mr Theodoros.
"Investigations into new information received remains ongoing," the spokesperson said.
"As the matter is before the court, police are unable to provide further comment at this time."
Mr Theodoros declined through his legal team to comment.
