01 Why there is no report today
The Bolsa de Valores de Colombia, the country’s stock exchange, was closed on Monday June 15 for the Feast of the Sacred Heart, a national public holiday. With no trading, there were no price moves, no volume and no closing levels to report, so there is no market session to cover for the day.
This is a routine calendar closure rather than anything to do with market conditions. Several other markets in the region also paused: Argentina’s exchange was shut the same day for its own holiday, while Brazil, Mexico and Chile traded as normal.

02 Where the market stands
Colombia heads into its next session on a strong note. On Friday June 12, the COLCAP surged 3.99% to a fresh high of 2,386.78, a fourth straight gain driven by optimism ahead of the June 21 presidential runoff, a firm peso and a rallying Ecopetrol. That close is the level the market carries into Tuesday.
For the full picture of that record run, see our most recent Colombia session report below. Normal daily coverage resumes with the Tuesday June 16 session, filed the following morning.
