
MANILA, Philippines — Some areas in Metro Manila and Rizal will face water interruptions due to emergency repair and maintenance activities until June 20.
According to Manila Water in an advisory, the maintenance activities will be conducted to help maintain supply of potable water.
Meanwhile, the emergency repairs are being undertaken to restore normal water supply faster and to minimize water losses.

“Manila Water is advising all residents of affected areas to store enough water to supply their needs during any service improvement activity,” Manila Water said.
“After the activity and once water service is restored, please conduct flushing by letting the water flow out of your taps for a few minutes until it becomes clear,” it added.
