What Bunnie XO Wrote About Jelly Roll Romance, His Affair Before Split

Jelly Roll and Wife Bunnie Xo Break Up, Divorcing After Nearly 10 Years

Months before their 10th wedding anniversary, Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO’s relationship hit a dead end road.

While fans are just learning about the singer and podcaster's split, Jelly Roll actually filed for divorce from Bunnie in Williamson County, Tenn., May 18, citing "irreconcilable differences," according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

And yet, just nine days prior, it seemed like the couple were going to be together 'til the wheels fall off as they celebrated 18-year-old daughter Bailee Ann’s senior prom.

"Never believed in ever after happily ‘til y’all," Bunnie wrote alongside a video she posted to TikTok May 9, the day Jelly Roll listed as their date of separation. She added in the caption, "My babies forever."

And the pair—who met at a Las Vegas saloon in 2015 when he was still a struggling musician living in his van and she was in the sex work industry—couldn’t believe how much their lives had changed.

"We raised a child," Bunnie—who helped Jelly Roll get custody of Bailee in the early stages of their relationship—said in a May 7 TikTok, "and it’s crazy because remember everybody was betting against us when we first got custody of her? Now look: She’s literally going off to college, 4.0 GPA, non-problematic."

And while the couple's romance wasn't without problems, it seemed like they were more than just okay. But as fans look back, there are a few social media posts that now read as suspicious.

Take Bunnie's May 16 video. Two days before Jelly Roll officially filed, she captioned a clip of herself walking past garbage bins, "I hate when my exes ruin a good shot."

She also made mention of a new home on May 21 and again a week later. And on June 6, the Dumb Blonde host shared a clip of herself riding a horse and wrote, "Wild hearts can’t be broken."

But that’s not all. On June 15—the day news of Jelly Roll and Bunnie’s split broke—she posted a photo of herself in a pink bra and underwear, writing, "She’s getting her sparkle back."

If love is a war, then it seemed like a battle Jelly Roll and Bunnie had won. Among their many skirmishes: A few breakups, including a 2018 split after Jelly Roll admitted to an affair, their lengthy fertility journey and the fact that he was expecting his now 9-year-old son Noah Buddy with an ex when he and Bunnie first got together.

And while fans would often refer to Bunnie and Jelly Roll as a power couple, she made it clear that not everyone should follow their lead. Explaining to E! News that they are "not role models," she detailed how hard they fought for their love story.

"I want people to know, 'Hey, it took a lot of work, guts and grit to get to where we are,'" she continued to E! in February. "Everything’s beautiful now, but it wasn't in the beginning. Just us being together was just two souls that were merging that were broken and just formed a whole piece. And we helped each other heal, and we have continued to elevate and grow in these past 10 years. I couldn’t be happier.
