
MANILA, Philippines — Operations of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) have returned to normal after the rail system implemented provisional services between North Avenue and Shaw Boulevard in both directions early Wednesday morning.
The provisional service was implemented at 5:50 a.m. due to a technical issue between Buendia and Guadalupe stations.
Normal operations resumed at 6:57 a.m.

“MRT-3 operations along the entire line have returned to normal. Rest assured that crowd management measures continue to be actively implemented to ensure passenger safety,” MRT-3 said in a social media post.
MRT-3 management added that train deployment is also being managed to better accommodate passenger demand.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your understanding and patience,” MRT-3 further said. /gsg
