
LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Anti-illegal drug operatives seized over P1.4 million worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth), recovered an undocumented firearm, and arrested four alleged drug suspects in separate operations in Batangas and Laguna provinces on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Police Regional Office 4A (PRO-4A) reported that operatives in Batangas City arrested a suspect identified only as “Impols” at around 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday after he allegedly sold P200,000 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay Tinga Itaas.

Authorities said the suspect yielded around 100 grams of suspected shabu contained in a knot-tied transparent plastic sachet, with an estimated street value of P680,000 based on the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) valuation of P6,800 per gram.

Police also recovered from the suspect an undocumented 9mm pistol loaded with 11 rounds of ammunition.
Seized from “Impols” were a motorcycle allegedly used in illegal drug activities and a mobile phone, which authorities said would be examined for possible drug-related transactions.
Police classified the suspect as a high-value individual (HVI), a category that includes drug traffickers, financiers, and members of illegal drug syndicates.
At around the same time, patrolling police officers arrested another suspect identified as “Rogelio” in Barangay Sorosoro Ibaba after allegedly seeing him openly handling and playing with a fan knife.

During a routine frisk, authorities allegedly recovered from Rogelio three heat-sealed plastic sachets containing around 50 grams of suspected shabu valued at about P340,000.
Meanwhile, anti-narcotics operatives in Santa Rosa City, Laguna arrested two suspects identified as “MJ” and “Lamlam” during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sinalhan at about 1:42 a.m. Wednesday.

Authorities seized 13 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing a total of 65.63 grams, with an estimated DDB value of P446,284.
