The US and Iran have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at ending the war.

This has been confirmed by the White House and Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei.

The MOU was signed by US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, according to US officials.
