‘Lilo & Stitch’ Star Sydney Agudong Set For Hawai’i’-Set ‘The Tourist Curse’ With Henry Ian Cusick, Mahina Napoleon…

EXCLUSIVE: Sydney Agudong (Lilo & Stitch), Henry Ian Cusick (Lost), Mahina Napoleon (The Walking Dead: Dead City), and Tori Anderson (NCIS: Hawai’i) are among leading cast in Hawai’i-set adventure comedy The Tourist Curse.

Also starring are Ta’imua, Kimee Balmilero, Jason Antoon, Mele’iwa Silva, Dionysio Basco, Rebecca Creskoff, Seana Kofoed, Celia Kenney, and Stephen Hill.

Alexander Bocchieri (Go For Broke) has signed on to direct the misadventure-comedy with a creature feature twist. Filming is due to begin this month.

Set against the backdrop of an unnamed Hawaiian island, the PG-13-aimed movie is about a group of game show contestants sent to a mysterious location and tasked with finding a missing artifact, who inadvertently awaken the local creature, turning their tropical treasure hunt into a cross island fight for survival.”

Written and produced by Seana Kofoed (ClearMind), the film is also produced by Gerard Elmore, VP of Film at NMG Network, and Henry Joe Productions’ Annie Cusick Wood (Salvador). Casting is led by Hoffman Bernstein Casting.

Linda Nichols will executive-produce alongside Robert Nichols and Michael Glassner, and in partnership with O’ahu’s Kualoa Ranch.
