VCL PH Champs, Oasis Gaming, eliminated from SEA Split 2

MANILA, Philippines — Thailand’s 555 dominated against Filipino representatives, Oasis Gaming (OAS), after a quick sweep in the VALORANT Challengers (VCL) SEA Split 2 lower bracket semis on June 18.

OAS could not recover after 555’s first map win in Haven, losing to the Thai runner-ups 13-4.

Then, in Lotus, OAS bowed to 555’s momentum, leaving the VCL Philippine Qualifier Champions with just six on the score board.

555’s Natthanon “endoist” Ammaree led the squad with a total 38 kills across both maps and a towering 262 ACS.

Jade Lions remain PH’s hope

Meanwhile, Jade Lions will continue to represent the country as they take on Thailand champions, Sharper Esports, in the upper bracket finals.

The winner of VCL SEA Split 2 will head to the VCT Pacific: Stage 2 Play-in.

The Pacific stage will give Challenger teams the opportunity to enter VALORANT Champions in Shanghai.

The runner-up, however, will need to battle in the Last Chance Qualifier.

Adrian “Invy” Reyes and Paper Rex are the first to qualify for Champions after their victory against Team Vitality and securing the needed points.
