Domes Lake Algarve appoints Nadia Kostopoulou as new hotel manager

Domes Lake Algarve resort, in Vilamoura, has appointed Nadia Kostopoulou as its new Hotel Manager, marking a new chapter for the five-star property as it continues to strengthen its position within Portugal’s luxury hospitality sector.

The appointment reflects the resort’s commitment to promoting internal talent and developing leadership teams that embody the values and service standards of the Domes brand.

Kostopoulou takes over responsibility for the resort’s day-to-day operations following a steady rise through the organisation. Her journey with Domes Resorts began in Greece in 2017, where she first became immersed in the hospitality philosophy that has helped establish the brand’s reputation in the luxury travel market.

Around five years ago, she joined the Domes Lake Algarve project as Haute Living Manager, overseeing the resort’s premium guest offering. Her performance and leadership skills later earned her promotion to Director of Guest Experience, a role in which she played a key part in enhancing the guest journey and maintaining the high standards of service expected at the resort.

According to the company, Kostopoulou has been instrumental in strengthening the identity of Domes Lake Algarve as one of the region’s leading luxury hospitality destinations. Her close relationship with both guests and staff, attention to detail and people-focused management style have been highlighted as key factors behind her promotion.

Her international career spans Greece, Egypt and Portugal, providing experience across a range of luxury hospitality environments. Throughout her career she has worked with several prestigious brands and destinations, including Domes Resorts, Costa Navarino, The Westin, The Luxury Collection and Autograph Collection.

The breadth of her experience includes both adults-only resorts and family-focused properties, giving her expertise in operational management, guest experience, team leadership and the delivery of personalised services.

Kostopoulou’s academic background also sets her apart. She holds a degree in Physics and a master’s degree in Tourism and Business Management, combining analytical thinking with strategic planning and a strong focus on both business performance and people management.
