AP Eva Senses Hotel in Faro has launched a summer programme of jazz and bossa nova concerts, offering residents and visitors a series of live music evenings overlooking the city’s marina and the Ria Formosa.
The concerts take place at the hotel’s rooftop Bar Senses – Cocktail & Wine Bar and will run throughout the summer, with performances scheduled until September.
The initiative began on June 6 with a concert that attracted a full house, highlighting strong public interest in high-quality cultural events in the Algarve capital.
The performances will be led by musician David Fournier and his band, who will present a selection of jazz and bossa nova classics, creating what organisers describe as a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere against one of Faro’s most scenic backdrops.
Located on the top floor of the hotel, Bar Senses has become known for its panoramic views across the marina and the Ria Formosa Natural Park, making it a popular destination for sunset drinks and evening entertainment.
The concert series aims to combine live music, fine drinks and a unique setting, while contributing to Faro’s cultural and tourism offering during the busy summer months.
Upcoming performances are scheduled for June 28, July 12 and 26, August 9 and 23, and September 6 and 20.
All concerts take place in the late afternoon and are open to both hotel guests and the general public, subject to venue capacity.
With the programme, AP Eva Senses says it is reinforcing its commitment to supporting cultural activities in Faro and creating memorable experiences for both residents and visitors.
