Taylor Swift Supports Travis Kelce at Tight End University Kickoff Party Ahead of Wedding

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift know places they can hide…their wedding guests.

Amid rumors that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the Grammy winner are set to tie the knot at Madison Square Garden in New York July 3, San Francisco 49ers player George Kittle revealed his perspective as a guest.

“We don’t know,” Kittle and his wife Claire Kittle told Entertainment Tonight in a June 23 interview when asked whether the MSG would be the venue. “I actually asked Travis last night and he laughed at me.”

Indeed, Kittle revealed that Swift and Kelce’s wedding guests are just as much in the dark about the finer details of the party.

“I’m half expecting there to just be a jumbo jet on a runway,” Kittle detailed, “And they put us on a plane somewhere. I don’t have expectations. I know it’s going to be amazing.”

And Kittle joked that he has at least one part of the day planned, adding, “I’m wearing a blue suit, so that’s all I’ve got.”

The 49ers tight end also shared he’s received his save the date, emphasizing to People in a separate interview how much it meant that Swift attended Tight End University in Nashville “this close” to their wedding.

“She’s so kind,” Kittle mused, “and it’s awesome to have her around.”

One more detail Kittle was willing to reveal? The football star is already scheming what to give the couple for their special day, keeping their one request in mind.

“They said absolutely no gifts,” Kittle told Extra. “But I was thinking, Travis, for some reason, likes old coins, so I might get him an old coin.”

But while Kelce and Swift’s inner circle has remained tight-lipped about what they know about the upcoming wedding, New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani just might have confirmed that the couple will, in fact, tie the knot at least somewhere in the city that never sleeps while detailing the World Cup.

“We know it coincides with the Knicks’ Finals run,” Mamdani said during a press conference June 15. “We know it coincides with July 4, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding—all happening at the same time—and we are so excited to welcome the world here.”
