90 Day Fiancé’s Jenny Slatten Gives Update After Sharing ALS Diagnosis
Pedro Jimeno has found a new fiancée.
The 90 Day Fiancé star revealed he and Valentina Malagon are engaged four years after his divorce from fellow TLC star Chantel Everett.
“Me and Valentina, we got a big, big announcement to tell you because we are engaged! We are going to get married,” Jimeno said in a video alongside Malagon shared to Instagram June 23. “I proposed to Valentina in Hawaii.”
As for how the reality star popped the question?
“The day of the proposal, I said, ‘We are going to go to the best place in Hawaii, to the best restaurant.’ And we drive an hour away,” Jimeno recalled. “When we went to the place it was nothing, in the middle of nowhere. And she was like, ‘Really? It’s not a restaurant here.’ She was a little pissed because she was hungry. But I got it done!”
But hunger was a small price to pay for the surprise of a lifetime. As Malagon said of the experience, “It was amazing. I was very surprised.”
Jimeno, 34, also shared that the pair—who met in Tulum, Mexico, after connecting online—intends to start wedding planning “very soon,” noting that they’re still working out whether they want to tie the knot in Columbia, the Dominican Republic or the United States.
But as long as he has Malagon by his side, he’s willing to go anywhere.
“Valentina came into my life as an answer,” Jimeno wrote in the post’s caption, “as a blessing that God placed on my path to show me that true love isn’t something you search for… it’s something you recognize.”

“With her, I learned that peace also has a name, that home can live in a single look,” he added, “and that the future is built hand in hand with the person who lifts you up, honors you, and loves you with truth.”
The couple’s engagement comes four years after Jimeno’s 2022 divorce from Everett, who he met on season four of 90 Day Fiancé when he moved from the Dominican Republic to the U.S. on a K-1 visa to marry her.
Though their love story ended after six years of marriage, Jimeno is excited for what lies ahead.
“Thank you, my love, for choosing this journey with me,” he continued of Malagon. “What’s coming will be even more beautiful than what we’ve dreamed… because with you, every day I become a better man. I love you."
