How Shakira, Salma Hayek Pinault & More Stars Kicked Off the 2026 World Cup

Salma Hayek and her daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault look like works of art.

The 59-year-old took Valentina, 18, as her date to the Serpentine Summer Party in London on June 23, which raised funds for the Serpentine Galleries.

The Wild, Wild West star donned a lilac Alexander McQueen gown and a pair of oversized reflective sunglasses. Meanwhile, Valentina looked like the actress’ mini-me as she wore a black two-piece satin ensemble with slim black shades.

The women were joined by other patrons of the galleries including directors Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu and Alfonso Cuarón, whom the mother-daughter duo took a photo with.

While Salma typically keeps her daughter—whom she shares with husband François-Henri Pinault—out of the public eye, she does occasionally offer a glimpse of their home life. During Valentina’s 18th birthday party in September 2025, the Grown Ups actress gave a rare look at their family dynamic.

“We ate, we danced, we laughed, we loved… and we kept the party going all weekend,” Salma wrote on Instagram at the time alongside a carousel of photos and videos from the celebration. “Happy birthday mi cielo, celebrating you never feels long enough.”

And the day prior to the festivities, the Puss in Boots alum reminisced on Valentina’s younger years as her daughter entered adulthood.

“So many things have changed in your life, but you are always soooo you,” Salma shared in an Instagram post. “A kind passionate heart, a wise soul full of magic, a unique unstoppable force of nature with a witty sense of humor and stubborn tenacity. Some things will never [change] we love you forever.”

She concluded, “And although you were always ahead of your years you will always be in my heart my dream daughter.”
