beabadoobee has announced the follow-up to 2024’s This Is How Tomorrow Moves. Titled Pylon, the album arrives via Dirty Hit on September 18. The singer-songwriter has also shared a video for the record’s first single, “Sun Has Set,” which offers a first-person POV of beabadoobee beating someone up—until she suddenly gets sleepy and takes a nap. Watch it all go down below, along with dates for an upcoming international tour.
“This song has this petty tunnel vision—it’s like, I hate you. You’re gonna stay here and listen to how much I hate you. Because I never got to say that,” beabadoobee said in a statement. “A lot of the songs on this record are things I wish I could have said to someone.” Pylon takes cues from grunge, Midwest emo, and ‘90s radio rock with a run of features to back it up, including Hayley Williams, Turnstile’s Brendan Yates, Pinegrove’s Evan Stephens, Deftones’ Chino Moreno, Matty Healy and George Daniel of the 1975.
