'Love Island USA' Star Gabriel Reveals Where He Stands With Beatriz After Leaving the Villa
Gabriel Vasconcelos revealed whether his head is still turned by Beatriz "Bea" Hatz.
The Love Island USA contestant—who made his name among the season eight cast as a Brazilian bombshell before being voted out for dating around—updated where he stands with the Paralympic bronze medalist after they departed Fiji separately.
"Me and Bea, we already talked. She lives in LA, I live in Miami," Vasconcelos, 26, said during an exclusive interview with E! News. "At least for now, we're gonna keep being friends. I don't know what we'll have in the future, but we're still friends."
Before leaving the show June 18, Vasconcelos was voted by America to recouple with Jen Terry in episode nine, effectively dumping Hatz from the Villa. Still, Vasconcelos confirmed that there were no hard feelings between himself and the 25-year-old, adding, “We're good."
While the Miami local has no regrets about the "crazy experience” he had on Love Island USA, he’s open to revisiting some of the connections he believes could still lead to love. In fact, there's one particular Islander that Vasconcelos wishes that he could have explored more with: Kenzie Annis.
"I was also interested in Kenzie. I was trying to open myself a little bit more for Kenzie, but she was putting her friendship with Bea first and not being [open] for me," Vasconcelos explained. "And I was like, 'Okay, I'm not forcing anything.' I'm not gonna say, 'Oh, you gotta be with me,' or anything like that. Because I was happy with Bea. But I just wanted to explore [Kenzie] more."

"I didn't know what it could be with her," Vasconcelos admitted, noting, "I was at least trying to see how she is, her vibes and everything."
