MANDAUE CITY, Cebu — More than 20 houses in Sitio Marna, Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City, were demolished by a private demolition team on Thursday, June 25, prompting concerns from residents and city officials over the legality of the operation. A commotion erupted between residents and members of the demolition team as the operation continued on Thursday, prompting several affected families to seek assistance from authorities.
