MOSCOW, June 25. /TASS/. High-Precision Systems holding (part of Rostec) has successfully completed acceptance tests of the APN-30 power unit designed to provide autonomous power supply for oil and gas fields, Rostec’s press service reported.
"The High-Precision Systems holding, part of the Rostec state corporation, has successfully conducted acceptance tests of the new APN-30 power unit jointly with the customer. The unit is designed to provide autonomous power supply for oil and gas fields and can also serve as an emergency power source," the report said.
The unit is manufactured entirely from domestic components and will serve as a replacement for similar foreign-made systems, Rostec noted, adding that the equipment is set to undergo pilot industrial operation in the near future.
In addition to small and medium-sized oil and gas fields, the APN-30 can be deployed at other sites where gas is available. It can serve as an emergency power source for industrial facilities across various sectors, ensuring that critical infrastructure remains powered during grid outages. Moreover, the APN-30 can provide emergency power for apartment complexes or business centers in regions prone to frequent power outages.
