Jelly Roll Details "Plot Twist" in Bunnie Xo Breakup in Friendly Call
Bunnie Xo thinks she may be better off alone for now.
One week after the Dumb Blonde podcast host broke her silence about her divorce from Jelly Roll following nine years of marriage, she shared a glimpse into the eyebrow-raising messages she's received since the news broke.
"I have a few rappers that are literally in my DMs that are like, 'Yo,'" Bunnie (real name Alisa DeFord) began on the June 26 episode of her podcast. "You gotta give me something more. I'm never going to respond to a 'Yo.'"
However, there were some users who took more time to write a DM.
"A couple of guys have sent me poems," she amended. "You've got to just have some rizz, dude. Have a little bit of swag. That's all I need, just a little bit of swag and maybe I'll respond."
As for some of the more eyebrow-raising messages she's received after news broke that she and the "Need A Favor" singer were parting ways, Bunnie was more than happy to get into them.
"'I want to lick your balloon knot,'" she read aloud. "'Your body's absurd. Thicker than a Snickers. You'll never answer, but good God, I'd break you off. Your body is absurd. You ooze sexy.'"
In addition to cautioning against certain NSFW pickup line attempts, Bunnie also has another word of advice: Don't bring up her ex.
"'Hey, girl, if you ever wanted to be with a man who doesn't have any tattoos, especially none on his face, I'm here for you,'" she read. "'If you want to go back to someone that's a little more hefty, like me, not this skinny ass Jelly Roll, I'm your boy. I accept you for who you are.'"
"'You can call me Fat Roll or Crunchy Roll or Glazed Donut, whatever name you want to call me, you can do that. Holler at your boy, Bunnie Xo,'" she continued. "'I am not OK.'"
The podcaster couldn't believe that the online user had referenced the Grammy winner's song in his proposition.

"First of all, if you come in my DMs, please don't talk about my ex. I'm trying to get away from him. I don't want to hear it," she said. "Secondly, when you guys come in the DMs, it's not that hard. Just be yourself. I'm sure that dude's probably a sweet dude, but he just has no game."
Despite the onslaught of messages, the 46-year-old revealed she had responded to only two people. But that's not to say she's planning on stepping out with anyone anytime soon.
"One of the fantasies got ruined and then the other," she explained. "I don't know. I'm just not ready. I feel like I have so much work to do on myself that I have nothing to offer anybody.”
As for what would pique Bunnie's interest?
"Just be like, 'Hey, you're beautiful. I'm sorry you're going through a hard time. Let me f--king make you happy or just something sweet,'" she added. "Listen, some guy slid in my DMs about Nickelback and he got a response. I'm easy. I'm not very hard to please."
