The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced the commencement of the recruitment of ad hoc staff for the 2026 Osun State governorship election, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for various election duties for the polls scheduled to hold on August 15, 2026.
In a notice issued on Monday, the commission announced vacancies for Supervisory Presiding Officers, Presiding Officers, Assistant Presiding Officers, Registration Area Technical Support Staff, and Registration Area Centre Managers.
According to INEC, applications must be submitted through the INECPRES portal, which has been designated for the registration of eligible ad hoc staff for the election.
“The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) invites applications from suitable, qualified and interested candidates for engagement as Ad-hoc Staff for the conduct of the 2026 Osun State Governorship Election,” the commission stated.
INEC said the online application portal opened on June 27 and will automatically close at midnight on July 18, 2026.

Priority will be given to qualified personnel from the National Youth Service Corps, National Orientation Agency, National Identity Management Commission, and National Population Commission.
