See Taylor Swift's Most Bridal-Worthy Fashion Moments Through the Years
Taylor Swift might not be wearin’ a gown shaped like a pastry on her wedding day.
The “Fate of Ophelia” singer has been firmly in her bridal era following her engagement to Travis Kelce last August, but with rumors swirling they could be hosting their wedding at New York’s Madison Square Garden over this coming July 4th weekend, it remains to be seen what type of dress she’ll choose for the big day.
However, Swift’s bridal-inspired fashion moments over the years have given some insight on what design she might pick for her nuptials.
In fact, the 36-year-old was rocking the bridal vibes all the way back in 2008 at the Academy of Country Music Awards when she opted for a sleeveless gown featuring an empire waist and an embellished, glittering bodice.
And when it comes to bridal-worthy white looks, 2013 was a big one for the Grammy winner as she donned at least four separate white gowns on the red carpet, each of which featured a plunging neckline and a flowing, floor-length white skirt, showing off her statuesque figure.
The color made an appearance again in 2015 when Swift donned a slinky jumpsuit at the Billboard Music Awards—along with an edgy short haircut that was a far cry from the long waves fans had grown accustomed to.
But perhaps the best clue of her wedding day style could be from her 2021 music video “I Bet You Think About Me,” in which she portrayed a bride in a ballgown with over 2,000 floral appliques during her onscreen wedding to Miles Teller.

After all, fashion is an aspect of Swift’s life that she certainly puts a lot of thought into, especially when it comes to why she’s stuck to so many of her signature looks.
"I think that as much as you should be creative and experiment, there are certain things I know are fads, and so I try to steer clear of most of the obvious ones," she told Glamour in 2014. "I play the tape of my life forward and don't wear the things that my kids or grandkids will make fun of me for wearing, [like] 'Wow, cool, Mom, cool cowboy boots that you were wearing constantly in 2006!'"
