Mormon Wives' Taylor Frankie Paul Checked Into Rehab Facility
Taylor Frankie Paul’s legal journeys continue.
While the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star is currently engaged in a legal back and forth with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortenson, Taylor’s ex-husband Tate Paul has filed for a temporary restraining order against her.
Tate—with whom Taylor shares daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 6—filed the motion, obtained by People, in an Utah court on June 30. In addition to the TRO, he also filed a petition to modify the terms of their divorce and custody agreement.
E! News has reached out to reps for Taylor for comment but has not yet heard back.
As for Taylor, the reality TV star—whose season of The Bachelorette was put on pause after video of an altercation between her and Dakota resurfaced earlier this year—recently completed a stay in a rehab facility "on the advice of her mental health team," a source with knowledge of the matter told E! News June 30.
The facility in question, from which Taylor has already returned, specializes in providing mental health treatment in addition to other issues including addiction and trauma.
"She is committed to working on herself,” the insider shared, “and focusing on her family and being a good mom.”
Earlier this year, Dakota and Taylor—who share a 2-year-old son—took out competing protective orders against each other, alleging abusive behaviors throughout their three-year relationship.

Most recently, Dakota contacted the Bluffdale Police department on June 26 regarding a possible violation of a protective order, the department told E! News.
Law enforcement confirmed they’d reached out to Taylor after Dakota’s report before sending information to the Salt Lake City County District Attorney for additional review. Police noted they currently have no active cases against either Paul or Mortenson.
For her part, Taylor seemingly addressed the situation on her Instagram Story.

"Cops called on me again THIS WEEK... what are the odds?" she speculated on June 29. “And it's not people... it's ONE person the same person. It's obsessive.”
As for Dakota, he previously spoke out in the wake of the video's release.
"This is a deeply upsetting situation," he told E! in a March 19 statement. "I am focusing on our son and his safety, and hope that Taylor will do the same."
