A 37-year-old firefighter from southern Tasmania has been charged with possessing bestiality material.
Police charged the man yesterday after allegedly locating bestiality material on a storage device.
The man has been charged with one count of possess bestiality product and will appear in Hobart Magistrates Court in October.
Tasmania Fire Service Acting Deputy Chief Simon Pilkington said the man had been suspended from duty.
