WATCH: Official trailer of Kathryn Bernardo, James Reid's 'Someone, Someday'

They may not have started as each other’s original love team, but Kathryn Bernardo and James Reid showed undeniable chemistry in the first trailer of their new primetime series, “Someone, Someday,” released on Wednesday, July 8.

Produced by Dreamscape Entertainment, the feel-good drama series will air weeknights beginning July 27 at 8:45 p.m., on all of ABS-CBN’s digital platforms and assets. It will also stream first on Netflix on July 24 and on iWant on July 25, and it will also be available on TFC.

In the two-minute, 30-second teaser, Bernardo stars as Billy, a young executive who finds purpose between caring for her younger brother and managing a dating app for women. Billy’s friendship with Jordan (Reid) will deepen as she leans on him for support.

When Billy faces challenges that threaten everything she values, she must confront the wounds that she’s spent years hiding before she can reclaim her dreams, and finally discover whether someone, someday, was meant for her after all.

The series also stars Maja Salvador, whose villain role as Abby will try to wreak havoc in Billy’s already tumultuous life.

Directed by Chad V. Vidanes and Dolly Dulu, “Someone, Someday” is composed of a powerful cast that includes Dimples Romana, Rowell Santiago, Rita Avila, McCoy De Leon, and Daniela Stranner.

Their chemistry aside, Bernardo and Reid are both already deep in their respective romantic relationships.

The actress is currently being linked to Luceno City Mayor Mark Alcala, while Reid is in a relationship with Issa Pressman.
