Luxury wine hotel The Yeatman is bringing back its popular Sunset Wine Parties this summer, with three themed evenings celebrating Portuguese wines alongside cuisine, live music and spectacular views over the Douro River.
Running from July to September, the series transforms the hotel’s terraces and event spaces into destinations inspired by the Caribbean, Santorini and Tokyo, offering guests an immersive food and wine experience against one of Porto’s most iconic backdrops.
The first event, Caribbean Heat, takes place on Thursday, July 16, from 7pm to 11pm, with tropical-inspired décor, music and gastronomy setting the tone for the evening.
Guests will be able to sample dishes and small plates created by Michelin-starred chef Ricardo Costa, paired with wines from around 30 partner producers. The wine selection has been curated by the hotel’s wine director, Elisabete Fernandes.
The summer series continues with Santorini Sunset on August 20, before concluding with Tokyo After Dark on September 17. Each event will feature its own distinctive atmosphere, blending international culinary influences with Portuguese wines and live entertainment.
Held across The Yeatman’s indoor spaces and panoramic terraces, the evenings are designed to showcase the hotel’s renowned sunset views while celebrating Portugal’s wine culture in a relaxed, open-air setting.
Tickets for the opening event are now on sale, priced at €148 per person, with a reduced rate of €135 per person for group bookings of eight or more.
The Yeatman, located in Vila Nova de Gaia, is internationally recognised for its extensive wine programme and panoramic views across the Douro to the historic centre of Porto.
