Maltese fashion designer Luke Azzopardi has scored another major international moment after Chinese actress and global fashion icon Fan Bingbing appeared in one of his designs during Paris Couture Week.
Fan Bingbing, one of Asia’s biggest stars with over 4.5 million Instagram followers and a regular fixture at the world’s biggest fashion events, attended Azzopardi Studio’s Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 presentation wearing one of the designer’s signature black tailored looks.
Following the show, Bingbing shared photos from the event with her millions of followers, praising the collection’s “heritage, theatrical narrative and exceptional craftsmanship” while congratulating Luke Azzopardi and his team on their Paris Couture Week debut.
Azzopardi later thanked the actress publicly, writing: “Thank you @bingbing_fan for wearing our @azzopardi.studio suit.”
The moment comes just days after Azzopardi unveiled his latest couture collection, Salomé, at the iconic Musée Gustave Moreau, marking a landmark moment for Maltese fashion on one of the industry’s biggest international stages.
