In a rainfall warning issued at 5 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that orange rainfall warning was raised over the following areas:

Batanas (Laurel, Lian, Nasugbu, Talisay, Tuy, Calaca, Lemery, Agoncillo, Balayan, Calatagan)

Under this warning, areas are expected to receive 15 to 30 millimeters (mm) of rainfall within the next three hours, where flooding is “threatening.”

The following areas were then placed under the yellow rainfall warning, where areas are expected to have 7.5 to 15 mm of rainfall within the next three hours with the bureau warning of possible flooding in flood-prone area:
Laguna
Pampanga
Bulacan
Quezon (Lucban, Tayabas, Lucena, Sariaya, Candelaria, Dolores, Tiaong, San Antonio, General Nakar, Real, Infanta)
Batangas (San Juan, Lobo, Rosario, Taysan, Padre Garcia, Lipa, Santo Tomas, Malvar, Batangas City, Ibaan, San Jose, Cuenca, Mataasnakahoy, Balete, Tingloy, Mabini, Bauan, San Pascual, Tanauan, Alitagtag, San Nicolas, Taal, Santa Teresita, San Luis)
Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains were affecting the following and may persist within three hours:
Tarlac (San Jose, Mayantoc, Capas, Bamban, Concepcion)
Nueva Ecija (General Tinio, Palayan, Laur, Gabaldon, Peñaranda, Santa Rosa, Cabanatuan, Gapan, San Leonardo)
