
The Binibining Pilipinas 2026 beauties defied thunderstorm warnings and pushed through with its planned “Grand Parade of Beauties” on Saturday afternoon, July 11.
It proved to be a wise and serendipitous decision as rain clouds gave way to a brief ray of sunshine, and avid pageant supporters got to see the 35 Binibining Pilipinas candidates as they went around the Araneta City grounds in Quezon City.

Wearing bright pink swimsuits onboard convertible cars with the roofs tucked away, the beauty queens waved to adoring fans and spectators, as they held on tight to their respective floral headpieces to prevent the strong winds from blowing them away.

The Grand Parade of Beauties is an annual tradition of the national pageant, usually held a week before the final competition, where the public gets to see the participants in the flesh.
Joining the candidates were reigning Bb. Pilipinas International Katrina Anne Johnson, Bb. Pilipinas Globe Annabelle McDonnell, first runner-up Dalia Varde Khattab, and second runner-up Kathleen Espenido, wearing glamorous gowns.
The parade concluded at the Gateway Mall 2, with the candidates and reigning queens greeting fans and onlookers at a short program held at The Lagoon.
The 2026 Bb. Pilipinas Grand Coronation Night is set to take place at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on July 18. Miriam Quiambao will return to the national pageant’s stage to host with fellow queens MJ Lastimosa, Nicole Cordoves, and Catriona Gray. /edv
