MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Army honored its former chief, Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr., with a testimonial parade and review on Tuesday ahead of his retirement.
The ceremony at the Philippine Army headquarters in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, was led by Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Antonio Nafarrete, who cited Brawner’s decades of military service and leadership.

Brawner also received a special recognition for his “steadfast leadership, unwavering dedication, and lasting contributions to the Philippine Army,” the AFP said in a statement on Wednesday.
