“The June revenue collection further strengthened the port’s overall performance for the first half of 2026, with cumulative collection amounting to P120.88 billion, surpassing its midyear revenue target of P118.44 billion by P2.45 billion, or 2.06%,” BOC reported.
Previously, the port generated its biggest surplus of P3.05 billion, or 15.93%, in March after collecting P22.2 billion from its P19.16 billion revenue target.
The BOC attributed the accomplishment to “continued efforts to strengthen customs operations, facilitate legitimate trade, and enhance service delivery” in accordance with the revenue collection mandate.
“Exceeding our revenue collection target reflects not only the competence and dedication of the men and women of the Port of Batangas but also the strong partnership we have established with our stakeholders and the continued compliance of the trading community with customs laws and regulations,” District Collector Carmelita Talusan stated in the press release. /das
