Thousands of England supporters have made their way to Malta this summer, with both English nationals and Maltese fans creating a lively atmosphere in hotspots like Paceville throughout the tournament.

The viral TikTok video captures the optimism before kick-off, with fans belting out their iconic anthem, only for their dreams of ending England’s 60-year World Cup drought to be dashed once again.

England will now have to wait another four years for another shot at football’s biggest prize.
