PBA: Rain or Shine trades Gian Mamuyac to Phoenix

MANILA, Philippines–Rain or Shine traded team captain Gian Mamuyac to Phoenix on Thursday while in the midst of negotiations for a contract extension. The Elasto Painters sent Mamuyac and a second-round pick in the Season 53 Rookie Draft to the Fuel Masters. In return, Phoenix dealt its first-round pick in the same draft, which is expected to take place around 2030. The PBA approved the trade, which was later posted on the league’s website.
