Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan on Friday called on the Chinese government to issue a public apology over an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-generated video by state-run China Daily depicting Filipinos as monkeys. “We call on the government of the People’s Republic of China to immediately order China Daily to remove the video, issue a clear and public apology, and hold accountable those responsible for its creation and publication,” Pangilinan said in a statement.
