Wellington crash blocks SH1 southbound

The southbound lanes of State Highway 1 are closed following a crash in Wellington on Friday afternoon.

Police were called to the single vehicle crash near the Aotea Quay off-ramp shortly before 2.10pm.

One person suffered minor injuries, police said.

They were warning motorists in the area to expect delays.
