A magical evening of music, history and atmosphere is set to return to Mdina this month as A Midsummer Dream takes over the historic Aula Capitulare at St Paul’s Cathedral on 17th June.
Following a sold out debut last year, the concert returns as part of the Mdina Resounds series by Udjenza, bringing together the Cordia String Quartet, tenor Cliff Zammit Stevens and actor Clare Agius for an intimate one night only performance.
Under the musical direction of Jacob Portelli, audiences will be treated to a programme featuring works by Handel, Brahms, Haydn and Dvořák, all inspired by the beauty and spirit of summer.
The event will take place inside the rarely accessible Aula Capitulare, offering guests a unique opportunity to experience one of Malta’s most atmospheric historic spaces. Attendees will also be invited to explore the cathedral’s main nave after hours before the performance begins.
The evening includes a welcome drink hosted by Xara Collection, while guests can also choose to join a guided walking tour of Mdina before the concert.
Tickets and more information are available via Udjenza.
