Jelly Roll’s Wife Bunnie Xo Shares Cryptic Posts Amid Breakup

Bailee Ann DeFord is making her voice heard amid her parents’ breakup.

Amid the news of her dad Jelly Roll and stepmom Bunnie Xo’s divorce, the teenager reacted to the public’s interest in what she considers to be a personal situation, asking fans not to get involved.

“I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in a very clearly private family matter,” Bailee wrote on her TikTok Stories June 16. “It’s fkn crazy.”

The 18-year-old added, “Go on somewhere yall. Worry bout your house—not mine.”

But while she told people to mind their business, she hinted at sharing her thoughts on the divorce publicly in the future, adding, “I’m not speaking on it—yet.”

E! News has reached out to Jelly Roll and Bunnie's reps for comment but hasn't heard back.

The day prior, news broke that Jelly Roll—also dad to son Noah, 9, from a previous relationship—and Bunnie had separated after nearly 10 years of marriage. In the divorce paperwork obtained by E! News, the “Son of a Sinner” singer listed the couple’s date of separation as May 9, citing "irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

Fans of the former couple were shocked by their breakup, given how often the pair discussed their love for one another. Plus, Bunnie (real name Alisa DeFord) released her best-selling memoir Unapologetic in February and appeared at multiple events with Jelly Roll in the weeks following, during which they spoke about their strong bond.

Although neither Jelly Roll (real name Jason Bradley DeFord) nor Bunnie have publicly discussed their breakup, the Dumb Blonde podcast host shared a couple of cryptic messages amid the news.

On TikTok June 15, she lip-synced to Nickleback’s song “How You Remind Me,” which contains the lyrics, “It's not like you to say 'Sorry' / I was waiting on a different story / This time, I'm mistaken / For handing you a heart worth breaking."

Plus, the 46-year-old posted a topless pic of herself to her Instagram Stories the same day, writing, “She’s getting her sparkle back.”
