
BAGUIO CITY — Mayor Benjamin Magalong on Friday suspended classes from preschool to college in both public and private schools due to moderate to heavy rains brought by Typhoon Inday in the morning.
The suspension takes effect at 12 noon and will remain in force until further notice.

Students, parents, and school personnel were advised to monitor official announcements from the Baguio City government and their respective schools for updates. Residents were also urged to stay safe and take the necessary precautions amid the inclement weather.
In neighboring La Trinidad, Benguet, Acting Vice Mayor Guiller Galwan earlier suspended classes from kindergarten to senior high school in both public and private schools. The suspension was announced at 7 a.m. Friday due to the continuing heavy rains./coa
