Watch: Ministers Gather At Castille For First Cabinet Meeting Of 2026

Malta’s ministers assembled at Auberge de Castille for the first cabinet meeting of 2026, marking the start of the new legislature.

Footage shared by Equality and Civil Rights Minister Rosianne Cutajar showed members of cabinet arriving at Castille ahead of the meeting.

Among those featured was Youth, Wellbeing and Electoral Manifesto Implementation Minister Omar Farrugia, who was seen meeting Cutajar as they entered the Prime Minister’s office.

The gathering marked the first cabinet session of the year and the beginning of work for the new legislature.
