Prime Minister Robert Abela has shared footage from the first Cabinet meeting following the general election, bringing together the ministers who will lead the government over the next five years.
Addressing Cabinet, Abela said the government’s objective for the new legislature is clear: to deliver on the commitments made to voters and implement all the measures outlined in Labour’s electoral manifesto.
He told ministers that their focus must remain on improving people’s quality of life, stressing that the work now begins to turn electoral promises into tangible results for families, workers and businesses across the country.
The meeting marks the official start of the government’s new term, with discussions centred on priorities for the years ahead and the implementation of the programme presented during the election campaign.
Do you think the government will deliver on its promises?
