Jelly Roll’s Wife Bunnie Xo Shares Cryptic Posts Amid Breakup
The band played on for Jelly Roll.
One day after the news of his divorce from Bunnie Xo was revealed, the “Bloodline” singer returned to the stage at Roger’s Stadium in Toronto as part of his and Post Malone’s Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2.
Jelly Roll had the crowd on their feet during the performance, singing hits like "Liar" and honoring Toronto native The Weeknd with a cover of "The Hills," according to social media footage.
While the split became public on June 15, the 41-year-old (real name Jason DeFord) filed for divorce from his wife of 10 years on May 18, according to legal docs obtained by E! News. The divorce petition noted the date of separation as May 9, 2026, and cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.
And Jelly Roll might have hinted at his divorce from Bunnie (real name Alisa DeFord) in early June as he took the stage at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on June 4 without his wedding band.
For her part, Bunnie posted multiple cryptic posts to social media ahead of the split.
The Dumb Blonde podcast host lip-synced to the Nickelback’s song “How You Remind Me” in a June 15 TikTok video, and also posted a photo of herself from a boudoir photo shoot to her Instagram Stories, captioning the pic, “She's getting her sparkle back."
E! News previously reached out to Jelly Roll and Bunnie's reps for comment but hasn't heard back.

Just three months prior to the filing Bunnie had shared in her memoir Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic that she and the country star—who is dad to kids Bailee Ann, 18, and Noah, 9, from past relationships—were hoping to expand their family through IVF.
“Now that we’re finally stable financially and somewhat emotionally after all the healing we’ve done over this decade together, we’re talking about the future—including growing our family,” the 46-year-old wrote in her book. “J and I have a surrogate, the sweetest woman ever, and soon I’ll be starting my IVF stims.”

And though she was excited, the podcaster was also nervous, writing, “I’ve waited this long to have kids with someone I knew would be a great father and to be able to make sure they have the best life.”
“We’re going to raise these babies in love and give them everything we were never given,” Bunnie continued. “I can’t wait to see a piece of me and him running around outside of our bodies.”
